Used as a side feed extruder in continuous mixing applications, Planetruder® is designed for mixing thermoplastic elastomers and rubber. Once connected to the compounding extruder, Planetruder feeds extremely high, precise and continuous amounts of rubber into the compounding extruder.

Completely leakage free, the planetary gear pump ensures feeding precision higher than ± 0.4%. Compared with cold pellet feeding, the Planetrudercompounding process is much simpler. Because a constant flow of pre-heated rubber enters the compounding extruder at even temperatures.

Our single-drive, compact design allows you to attach Planetruder easily – without taking up excessive space. It also accommodates strips, eliminating the need for rubber pelletizing.
